Organization Description

Sports Laval was created in December 2003 following a strategic alliance between the Commission Sports Laval (CSL) and the Association régionale du sport étudiant de Laval (ARSEL). Its mission is to promote the development of sports for Laval’s youth, from initiation to excellence, by bringing together and supporting both school and community organizations. Its vision is to become the regional leader in sports development and thereby contribute to:

• The harmonization of school and community sports sectors
• The growth of sports participation
• The increase of physical activity and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits among Laval’s youth.

What We Do With Your Donations

Sports Laval Scholarship Program: Sports Laval aims to provide financial support to various sports stakeholders (athletes, coaches, officials, sports organizations, and educational institutions) as part of developing the next generation. As the host organization since 1999, Sports Laval draws its scholarship fund from the Operation Red Nose Laval–Lower Laurentians fundraising campaign.

Operation Red Nose runs a road safety awareness campaign while enabling its local organizations to raise donations.
